Hideout stands out as one of the most acclaimed electronic music festivals in Europe, and this year's edition proved there's no knocking that title.

As we head deep into festival season still carrying the suspense of the pandemic’s halt on the music industry, parties are bigger and better than ever. Up on that list of best weekenders is Croatia's extravagant Hideout festival.

Due to celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2020, the postponed party rolled over to Croatia's legendary Zrce Beach after years of anticipation. This milestone edition had a line-up brimming with electronic trailblazers including Mixmag cover stars TSHA, SHERELLE, and Overmono.

With five beach-based stages, Papaya, Aquarius, Noa, Kalypso and Euphoria, the festival had endless opportunities to listen to the latest top talent from across the globe along with mesmerising lighting and sound. When not at one of these mind-blowing stages, festival-goers were offered the chance to experience the ultimate bungee jump or quad bike across the Island of Pag.

Dubstep hero Skream was everywhere across the weekend - from his wild Boat Party to a b2b set with the man behind hit track ‘Tell Me Something Good’, Ewan McVicar. Captain Skream threw out bangers from Butch’s ‘No Worries’, Julio Bashmore’s ‘Au Seve’ as well as his own new release with Jackmaster, ‘The Attention Deficit Track’. During his set with McVicar, the pair raised the bar once again as a crowd of ravers and the odd inflatable alien lapped up the tunes under the Croatian sun. This wasn’t the only mega b2b - Mall Grab and Kettama blew the crowd away with some hardcore breaks along with house classics including Hardrive's ‘Deep Inside’.

Bringing more bass and jungle to the island, Shy FX boomed out their classics transforming the festival into a carnival, while ravers didn't even notice the rain. Plenty more hot acts brought incredible sets such as Sonny Fodera, Hot Since 82, Jamie Jones, ABSOLUTE. and more making this anniversary one to remember.
