Red Rack’em Bill George (Nettles)
You hear the term ‘future disco’ banded around a lot in this game, but Danny Rackem actually delivers it with ‘Bill George’. The track kicks off with a flamboyant boogie groove that sounds like a collab between Ray Parker Jr and the Purple One of Minneapolis – but just when you think you now where it’s all headed, you’re engulfed in a landscape of deep, heavy pads before that groove returns with some clever chopping.
