Barbour teams up with Hikerdelic to rework classic silhouettes
Travel ‘From Peak to Precinct’ with Hikerdelic and Barbour for AW19
Teaming up for a debut collaboration, Barbour and Hikerdelic bring us an AW19 offering that effortlessly blends the former’s classic, British style, with the latter’s retro-inspired mountain wear.
Formed in 2013, Hikerdelic has collaborated with the likes of Novesta and Kickers, alongside a number of UK-based illustrators too. For this collab - arguably their most high-profile to date - they’ve used bold, block colours - alongside capacious pockets and traditional details - to create a collection designed to take you from ‘peak to precinct’.
The collection is made up of two colour block waxed jackets coated in Barbour’s lightweight 4ox wax. Cut for an oversized fit, both the Pitt Wax and the Whitworth Jacket offer a patchwork construction of neutral sand, olive and navy hues.
Complete with spacious bellows pockets, and cotton lining to keep you toasty on the hill-tops or in the town, these waxed jackets offer a contemporary take on the classic Barbour Jackets.
The collection is available now from www.hikerdelic.com
