Experience the music from our BUDX - Ho Chi Minh City event

Mixmag continued our worldwide BUDX tour in Ho Chi Minh City, one of Vietnam’s liveliest areas, to celebrate urban culture, art, and music. Attendees of the function experienced three full days and nights of events, including insightful panels, immersive workshops and exclusive sets by Cedric Gervais, What So Not, Troyboi, Masew, Touliver and Get Looze.

We booked an international cast, as well as a few local standouts, to round out our bill of diverse sounds that served to encapsulate the spirit of Ho Chi Minh City. We also recorded a few of the music performances, for posterity's sake.

It was our pleasure to welcome Cedric’s slapping tech house to the BUDX stage in Ho Chi Minh City. He held down the decks in proper fashion, performing a full hour and a half for our night’s attendees. Cedric also hosted a panel discussion on elevating artistic recognition on the global stage, being a Grammy Award-winning producer, before performing a DJ set for the audience.

Get Looze is forever wishing for you to have a good night and enjoy the ride. That’s just the kind of guy he is. Being a tech house aficionado and standout Vietnamese DJ, it was an honor to host him at our Ho Chi Minh City stop. Be sure to give his set a listen, it’ll be sure to get your booty movin’.

This up-and-comer duo secured our Time to Shine slot, being an emergent Vietnamese group. Masew dropped some absolute trap heaters over the crowd, with an abundance of enthusiasm and MC skills. Their set snapped a few necks, and brought a distinct local flavor to our BUDX stage. Scope their set above.
