Pioneer DJ brings it all together with the new all-in-one XDJ-RX3
The 2-channel performance all-in-one DJ system has an array of features
Pioneer DJ has just released details of its new XDJ-RX3 model – an impressive all-in-one DJ system which has several high-end features found on the CDJ-3000.
The new system has all the practicality of an easily portable design while also hosting professional features from the club-standard CDJ-3000 multiplayer and DJM-900NXS2 mixer.
Its versatility makes it great for playing not just at home, but also in small venues. It’s easily transportable, detailed, powerful and has everything you need to play a great set anywhere. This was proven when Theo Nasa used the XDJ-RX3 at our very special Lab LDN on November 19.
As usual, DJs can choose whether they want to play rekordbox-analyzed tracks from USB drives or connect a laptop to unlock rekordbox Performance mode.

The XDJ-RX3 has a 10.1-inch touch screen – the largest ever on a Pioneer DJ all-in-one system – which has a higher resolution and frame rate than the one on the previous model.
It also has a brand-new interface that makes browsing music and controlling effects easier, faster and smoother. The browse section is based on the CDJ-3000 for intuitive playlist navigation. Users can readily and easily access their four favourite playlists. Touch Preview allows users to listen to any part of a track without even loading it to the deck.

DJs can alternate between viewing the pad status or Beat FX and the X-Pad with one tap on the screen, and there’s support for the 3Band Waveform feature – another asset from the club-standard CDJ-3000. And with Color On Jog Display, it’s easy to display track artwork or keep an eye on essential information like the playhead position. The “weight” of the jog wheel is also customisable by tweaking the Feeling Adjust on each one.
This device has 14 Beat FX and six Sound Color FX from the DJM-900NXS2 – making it easy to get creative with mixes and provide a unique spin on every single set. And with Release FX, DJs can easily show their flair and create dramatic transitions between tracks.
With a new audio design that eliminates unwanted external noise, this all-in-one DJ system can create clean, precise mixes and provides an enjoyable listening experience to audience members at any event.
Appearance-wise, this unit is embolic of club-standard Pioneer DJ equipment with traits such as the illumination around the play and cue buttons and the Color On Jog Display standing out in particular.
