Pioneer DJ has released a six-channel mixer called the DJM-V10 and it’s coming bundled with some cool and unique features that you can’t find on other Pioneer DJ products.

Here are 10 reasons why it’s the best Pioneer mixer on the market right now.

There are a whopping six channels at your disposal

The DJM-V10 has got you covered with six channels, meaning multi-turntable and CDJs sessions are the go, with scope as well for DJ-friendly instruments like drum machines and samplers. As multi-deck sets and hybrid live/DJ performances become more commonplace, the DJM-V10 is here to meet that demand.

The sound quality is better than ever

With a 64-bit mixing and dithering processing chip and 32-bit high quality D/A & A/D converter, you’ll be getting the best possible sound quality from your tracks when you play out.

EQs and compressors now have 4 bands

With the DJM-V10’s 4 band EQ and compressor, DJs have more options than ever to be flexible in their choices for their sets. There’s also a compressor knob available on each channel.

Channel faders are newly developed

Thanks to new technology, channel faders on this mixer are even more precise than before and are also a lot sturdier, meaning that they’ll last a lot longer.

There are endless possibilities for FX sounds

You can connect up to two pieces of external equipment to the send section and create unique FX that can also be conjoined with the built-in FX that the mixer offers. Live remixes have never been easier than this!

Filters now have resonance control

Filters are a big change on the DJM-V10 mixer, sporting a new resonance filter that allows you to change the sound of a song drastically, or lets you make very small changes if you wished. To do this, you would switch to either the high or low pass filter, turn the knob to the left to start from the beginning, then all the way to the right for the maximum effect. The high and low passes are separated so you have more of a resolution to play with compared to previous Pioneer DJ mixers.

New Beat FX is on board

The DJM-V10 introduces the ‘Shimmer’ Beat FX feature, which according to Pioneer themselves ‘adds brightness to the original audio’ – you can look forward to using that in your sets.

B2B sets are now easier than ever

Rejoice. Pioneer’s new mixer has a dual headphone output, meaning that 2 DJs can plug in seperate headphones and enjoy monitoring their own channels independently. Both outputs also feature their own Cue/Master mix controls and level adjustment knobs - lovely stuff.

It’s a brand new piece of kit

Think about it. Imagine rocking up to your next gig with this under your shoulder. You’ll be the talk of the town with the fancy new mixer. DJs will envy the features that their other mixers will lack...
