Filters are a big change on the DJM-V10 mixer, sporting a new resonance filter that allows you to change the sound of a song drastically, or lets you make very small changes if you wished. To do this, you would switch to either the high or low pass filter, turn the knob to the left to start from the beginning, then all the way to the right for the maximum effect. The high and low passes are separated so you have more of a resolution to play with compared to previous Pioneer DJ mixers.

The DJM-V10 introduces the ‘Shimmer’ Beat FX feature, which according to Pioneer themselves ‘adds brightness to the original audio’ – you can look forward to using that in your sets.
