Soundscapes brought together the freshest new music, DJ streams and a behind-the-scenes documentary
Looking back on 10 weeks worth of fresh music and DJ sets from stunning locations in Soundscapes
For the past few months, Mixmag has teamed up with the UK’s No 1 nicotine pouch brand* Nordic Spirit.
A channel of musical exploration was created in the form of Soundscapes, combining Nordic Spirit’s passion for all things discovery with Mixmag’s powers of talent and music curation.
Soundscapes, which launched in November, brought together a playlist (updated weekly for 10 weeks), two streams from two stunning UK locations - with Nic Fanciulli and Eats Everything - and a behind-the-scenes short documentary featuring Eats.

The stream with Nic Fanciulli saw him play a house set with a backdrop of the 14th century Bodiam Castle, located in his home county of Kent, while Eats performed on Burgh Island in Devon. Eats’ set had him placed in front of the sea and he was eventually backed by a stunning sunset, while seagulls flew by throughout the set.
In the behind-the-scenes documentary, Eats Everything talks about his earliest musical memories, from listening to Fleetwood Mac and Enya in his parents’ car to first learning to DJ when he was 12-years-old.

He also talks about how his DJ career has allowed him to discover new things all around the world. As well as Bristol, a city not far from where he grew up, Eats lists Ibiza, Barcelona, New York, Amsterdam and Mexico City as places that give him a special feeling when he visits.
“To go to these places and meet people and see people isn’t just the place, it’s the people and experiences you have and having all this food that I’d never thought I’d try, probably didn’t think I liked. And it’s just, I’ve been to pretty much every corner of the globe to DJ in them.”
