How did you put together your cover mix?
When I put together a mix, I just go by what I’ve been listening to during that time do it’s all my current favourites and inspirations.
Where and on what equipment did you record it?
I use Ableton Live to record my mixes. Usually I’ll do this in the studio but sometimes just in my house.
How does what you play on affect your style of DJing?
It doesn’t usually have that much of an effect on style. When I DJ live I use CDJ, but on my mixes I like to use Ableton. That way I get the production vibe a little more.
The first ten minutes are quite chilled before the 4/4 kicks in - and then the mix veers into techno territory: is this a reflection of your music taste?
No, it's just a reflection of a feeling rather than music taste. I like to use the first song to establish a feeling.
‘Topdown’ sounds great in the mix - what made you choose that song?
Quite simply it’s one of my favourite songs that I've put out so I thought it was a great fit
Axel Boman’s Purple Drank makes an appearance at the end - when did you discover him and why do you like this track?
Just living life after dark. I'm always that guy that’s Shazaming at parties and stuff, it’s where I find a lot of new favourites!
