Berghain reveals line-up ahead of mammoth 72-hour New Year’s Eve party

The line-up for Berghain’s 72-hour end-of-year blowout party has been revealed.

This year, Silvester Klubnacht will see over 60 artists from around the world across three days on multiple floors, from Elektroakustischer Salon to Panorama Bar.

The annual marathon event begins this year on Friday, December 30, and concludes on Monday, January 2. Kicking things off in Panorama Bar, Avalon Emerson, DJ Holographic, OK Williams, Sedef Adasi, Paramida, and more are set to play alongside other club residents.

Meanwhile, Salon welcomes a more downbeat line-up including Space Afrika, Marco Shuttle, and live sets from Tobias., machìna, and Rabih Beaini.

Silvester Klubnacht 2022 marks the club’s first regular New Year’s Eve night since 2019. Both the 2020 and 2021 editions were cancelled due to the pandemic.

“It all starts on Friday night, December 30, as always, with an almost overgrown musical program on four floors,” the club announced. “The whole thing is not expected to end until the early midday hours of January 2.”

Elsewhere across the three-dayer, the likes of Ben Klock, DJ Nobu, Helena Hauff, Steffi, and Rødhåd will play Berghain’s main floor, while XXX-Floor features Lakuti, Cormac, Boris, and more.

Ahead of the end-of-year marathon, Berghain celebrates 18 years on the weekend of Saturday, December 10 to Monday, December 12 with a huge weekend-long line-up.

Earlier this year, Berghain’s booking agency Ostgut Bookings announced that it will cease operation by the end of 2022. The agency follows the closure of Berghain’s Osgut Ton label last December.

Rumours about the Berlin techno institution’s survival spread following news of the two division closures. The club nor its owners have confirmed or denied those rumours.
