London-by-Paris producer and DJ Big Dope P heads into Mixmag HQ this week where he’ll take over an hour slot blending his regular stylings of ghetto house, electro, footwork, and hip-hop. Hailing from the French capital, Big Dope P now makes his home in London working alongside some of dance music’s brightest - from Basement Jaxx to Kaytranada, Maya Jane Coles to Todd Edwards. In 2007, the producer founded Moveltraxx, a footwork and juke focused label championing talent from all over the globe, and has made his own debuts on labels including Ninja Tune, Local Action, and Ed Banger throughout the years.

Big Dope P’s Lab debut in the Lab follows a string of recent EPs and singles, and the release of his debut album, ‘Mehlish’, on Moveltraxx. His most recent release landed at the end of 2022, ‘Stomp Yo Ass’ featuring Katie Got Bandz, taken from his forthcoming sophomore album due to appear later this year. Don’t miss this one, sign up for guestlist here.

NEW LAB ADDRESS: 14 Charles II Street, London SW1Y 4QU
