Sade are reportedly making new music.

Hollywood actor Brad Pitt and French composer and producer Damien Quintard, who co-own Miraval Studios in Correns, France, confirmed to Billboard that the R&B outfit had returned to the Provence estate.

Sade —consisting of lead singer Sade Adu, Paul Spencer Denham, Andrew Hale and Stuart Matthewman — had previously used the recording studio to create parts of their 1985 record 'Promise'.

"You can feel the love [Sade] and the band had for this place," Quintard told Billboard. “We were ecstatic when she arrived, and for her to be the first artist to record again here… Some of the great moments of the studio are when you combine the past with the future."

The new music created in the studio is expected to be Sade’s first work since 2018 — when they recorded the soundtrack contributions ‘Flower of the Universe' for A Wrinkle in Time, and 'The Big Unknown' for the Steve McQueen-directed Windows.

The band has not released a full-length record since 2010's 'Soldier of Love'.

Matthewman had previously told Rated R&B in 2018, that the band were working on a new album but would only be releasing it "when we’re happy, then we’ll let everyone else hear it.”
