Brooklyn's TBA nightclub is set to close next month

Brooklyn's TBA nightclub has announced that it will close next month, exactly 12 years since it first opened its doors.

The team behind the venue, which is set within a former garage in Williamsburg, shared the news via a post on Instagram on Wednesday (February 19) writing: "With a mix of sadness, pride, and gratitude TBA Brooklyn will be closing its doors in March 2025."

"This space has been more than just four walls and a sound system—it’s been a home created by every person who’s contributed to its essence: our hardworking staff, the artists who’ve graced our booth, and most importantly, you, our TBA family who’ve filled this room with life night after night," the statement continues.

TBA Brooklyn didn't give a reason behind its closure, but confirmed that it is planning a "proper send off" which will be announced in the coming weeks, with "special events that celebrate everything TBA has meant to us all."

Located on Wythe Avenue, Williamsburg, TBA once shared a building with Mixmag's former New York office — alongside hosting a number of Mixmag LAB events, including an InHouse Records takeover with Todd Terry in 2016.

Founded in 2013 as the brainchild of "veterans of the New York bar, club and underground dance music scene," TBA hosted a number of underground parties — earning its reputation as one of New York's "most intimate venues."

While details of its closing parties are TBA for now, the venue has full programme of parties throughout February, check them out here.
