New 800-capacity nightclub launches in Brussels, bis.club
The venue will act as the "nocturnal part" of Bodies In Space, a office block-cum-arts-venue on the outskirts of the Belgian capital
A new 800-capacity nightclub is opening in Brussels.
bis.club, which is located in the basement of office block-cum-arts venue Bodies In Space, will hold its "first curated club night) this evening (January 24), with sets from deep house aficionado Vera, Sea and Ben Kamal.
Described as the "nocturnal part" of Bodies In Space, the temporal cultural venue's upper floors will provide residency studios and event spaces within the office on the outskirts of the Belgian capital for the next two years.

It is operated by collective Miauw vzw who have been transforming disused architectural spaces across Brussels since 2000.
They are known for work on projects such as The Mercerie, an abandoned former haberdashery and hosiery factory in the city centre, and their events at Brussels' Catclub.
In a post bis.club instructed clubbers joining tonight to “move freely, dance wildly, express yourself fully” but to remember they're “not floating in space alone”, and advised attendees to take care of themselves, others and the floors.

Keras, Ben Kamal, Lola Haro and Boudewijn Ericx are also set to play at the venue's next scheduled event on February 15.
