GALA has announced that it will embark on a global club tour to celebrate its 10th birthday.

The Peckham-based electronic music festival will begin its journey in Newcastle on January 24, where GALA was originally founded in 2016, with a party at World Headquarters headlined by DJ EZ and support from local selector Santa Leticia.

The next stop will be Coroner's Court in Bristol on February 8, featuring performances from Pearson Sound, Manami, ADD-SOUND and Ellie Anderson.

On March 14, the festival will head to WOMB in Tokyo for a collab with Japanese festival Rainbow Disco Club before moving on to Lisbon's DIY venue Higher Ground on April 11.

New York's Public Records, Chicago's Smartbar and Ephigenia in São Paulo will host GALA throughout October, followed by venues in Berlin, Amsterdam and finally Melbourne, which are yet to be confirmed.

Tickets are on sale now for Newcastle and Bristol dates via Resident Advisor. Other dates and further line-up info will be released soon.

GALA's co-founder Giles Napier said: “In their own distinct ways, these ten cities and spaces have defined the shape of GALA and inspired so much of what we do."

"It’s a total honour to mark our ten-year anniversary alongside legends of the festival on some truly iconic dancefloors," he added. "Sharing love and gratitude to all the incredible partners who will be welcoming us into their cities over the next 12 months.”

GALA will also return to London's Peckham Rye Park for a #TenYearsOfGALA edition of their summer festival, taking place May 23-25 this year.

While 2025's line-up is still yet to be released, 2024 included DJ EZ, Joy Orbison, Charisse C, Nabihah Iqbal, Loraine James, SHERELLE b2b Kode9 and Novelist.
