Brussels' Horst Arts and Music festival to open temporary club space

A new temporary club space from Brussels' Horst festival is set to launch next month, on the site of the yearly festival.

The Horst Arts & Music Club will run for 20 "warmly welcoming and wonderfully weird nights," from October 27 to March 2024

The 9th edition of the festival was a standout from this summer's festival season with highlight sets from BLUMITSU, Calibre, dBridge & Donato Dozzy, Nikki Nair and SASS (Peach, Moxie, Shanti Celeste & Saoirse).

The opening weekend celebrations will be fronted by Gabrielle Kwarteng, Maricas' ISAbella, and GiGi FM amongst others. Line-ups up to November 25th have been revealed, with artists such as Move D, Radioactive Man, Moxie and Jam City featuring.

Horst's reputation as a festival that reimagines dancefloors through its striking stage design and collaboration with artists is set to be transferred to the club, which will, like the festival itself, reside in Asiat Park. The space has been teased as a large spiral structure, with Decoratelier co-founder Jozef Wouters and Carolin Gieszner of touche–touche heading the design.

Horst Arts & Music Club continues the commitment to turn Asiat Park into a constant cultural hub; in April the festival opened its gates for 'Horst Atelier' where volunteers were invited to contribute towards stages, art and general production, and after the festival had finished the site became an open air art gallery for 'Horst EXPO'.

The expo ran until late June but Horst showed no signs of slowing down as they kicked off their summer events. The series lasted just over a month, with Avalon Emerson and DJ Fart in the Club starring on the opening and closing parties respectively.

Tickets to the first eight nights of the new venture are now live on the Horst website.
