'No Face'

Asa & Sorrow’s recent ‘Knights Of Ren’ EP was a blistering indicator of where Joker and his label Kapsize might be headed in 2016, but even we weren’t prepared for how raw and uncut new EP ‘The Phoenix’ would be.

Opener ‘No Face’ is a face-melting collision of grand, orchestral synth patterns and twisted purple bass sounds, and boy, does it deliver.

It might not pack the same trippy patterns of fellow EP track ‘Planet D’, but ‘No Face’ still feels like a return to the Joker we’ve not seen since 2014’s ‘Headtop’ EP. Bang!
