Kanye West says Kid Cudi will not feature on 'DONDA 2'

Kanye West and Kid Cudi had a public falling out over the weekend following Ye’s distaste for his estranged wife Kim Kardashian's new boyfriend, Pete Davidson, who appears to be friends with Cudi.

The rappers were neck-and-neck over social media on Saturday after Kanye discovered Cudi’s friendship with the comedian.

He publicly revealed that Cudi will now no longer appear on his forthcoming album ‘DONDA 2’ “because he's friends with you know who”, adding “we all speak in Billie language now”, hinting at his more recent fall out with 20-year-old singer Billie Eilish.

Cudi replied to the Instagram post, which has now been deleted, writing: “Too bad I don’t wanna be on ur album u fuckin dinosaur hahaha.”

The response prompted a back-and-forth between the pair with Ye later posting a group picture with Davidson's face crossed out. “I JUST WANTED MY FRIEND TO HAVE MY BACK THE KNIFE JUST GOES IN DEEPER” he captioned the post.

“We talked weeks ago about this. You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet. You ain’t no friend. BYE,” Cudi tweeted at Ye.

Ye also went on to post more pictures on Instagram including a fake Marvel movie poster where both Kanye and Davidson are photoshopped beside Julia Fox, Drake, Travis Scott on Ye’s side, and Kim Kardashian, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift on Davidson’s.

The post was captioned “United we stand. Divided we fall,” insinuating a battle between the pair. Ye’s slew of unusual posts have now been deleted, and the rapper since posted a picture of himself holding up a piece of paper reading: “My account is not hacked”.

This isn’t Ye’s first altercation - while the rapper is known for public disputes with fellow friends and musicians including Drake, his most recent with Billie Eilish sparked a controversial reaction amongst fans.

Ye slammed the singer for her sly hits at Travis Scott when a fan fell ill at her concert. Eilish stopped the show and handed the fan an inhaler, telling the crowd “I wait for the people to be okay before I keep going”.

Kanye later took to Instagram asking the 20-year-old to apologise for her comment, “come on Billie we love you please apologise to Trav”, he said.
