Kasper Marott faints onto mixer during Berghain DJ set: “I caused quite a scene”

Danish DJ and producer Kasper Marott passed out during his performance at Berghain last weekend, he explained to fans on Instagram.

“Yesterday, I caused quite a scene by fainting and falling onto the mixer during my set at Berghain, which brought the music to a sudden stop,” he said in a new post.

Kasper was performing at a Klubnacht event on Saturday, February 15, alongside the likes of DJ Holographic, MARRØN, Blasha & Allatt, Axel Boman, and more.

Though he says that he came away mostly unscathed, Kasper explained: “I walked away with a new scar, but thankfully, I’m feeling better today.”

“Huge thanks to the incredible staff for handling everything so professionally, helping me get back on my feet to finish what I started,” he said.

Kasper also dispelled rumours that he was under the influence of “any substances”, explaining that he has been sober his entire life. “But the rumours are entertaining,” he joked.

“I’m also grateful to all the dancers for their support, everyone who sent kind messages, and, of course, my friends and girlfriend for having my back.”

One attendee commented under his post, writing: “Seeing u coming back with a towel on your head and finishing the set like nothing happened was the best thing of the night.”

Kasper shared some photos outside the famed venue, as well as an up-close picture of his “new scar”, which marks across his forehead. Check out his post below.
