KILIMANJARO releases new EP ‘Makalelo (Origins)’
KILIMANJARO has also announced some high profile tour dates

KILIMANJARO has released a new four-track EP titled ‘Makalelo (Origins)’.
The title means ‘beginnings’ in the Zambian-Scottish artist’s native tongue, Zambian Lozi, and aurally references what he calls “Sounds of the Motherland”, fusing Afro vocal chants, dynamic rhythms, hefty bass and trance-inducing percussion into floor-focused tracks.
“‘Makalelo (Origins)’ is the beginning of something special, the evolution and the genesis for what is to come sonically,” says KILIMANJARO. “These tracks have been road-tested and developed worldwide over the past 18 months and have created countless special moments during my shows on dance floors around the globe. I can't wait for you all to hear what we’ve been cooking.”
Last year KILIMANJARO played Mixmag’s The Lab Goa, which you can watch here.
KILIMANJARO has also announced a string of upcoming tours dates, including a headline set in fabric’s Room One on April 4, as well as dates at Edinburgh’s Liquid Rooms, Manchester’s Nowhere back-to-back with Skream, California’s Coachella and Pacha Ibiza.
