Sydney-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer Logic1000 has announced the release of her debut album, ‘Mother’, due for release on March 22 via Therapy and Because Music.
The announcement came on November 9 alongside the release of her second single from the record, ‘Self To Blame’, a garage-inspired track featuring singer-songwriter Kayla Blackmon. Listen below.
The new record is co-produced by Logic1000’s long-term creative partner, Tom McAlister (AKA Cop Envy / Big Ever), in a “love letter to house music”.

‘Mother’ muses on the acceleration of her career and her own gripes with mental health, as well as her recent entry into motherhood. “I felt so much love and inspiration entering into motherhood that I just needed to create,” she says. “I never thought I would be capable of something so powerful".
"The very first show I ever played was very lowkey, to like five people, but then all of a sudden I was DJing in front of thousands", she adds. "It was just too much for me. I should have taken more time out after having Genie, and got really confident with my DJing, rather than travelling the world with a three-month-old."
‘Mother’ also takes influence from noughties R&B with a modern take on house music, explaining that both her and Tom explored “so many different sub-genres”.
Logic1000 is soon to launch day raves in Berlin and beyond under her Therapy outlet. "These parties are for everyone", she explains.
"But it's so important for parents and sober people to have the opportunity to enjoy themselves in a safe, welcoming environment, and in sociable hours."
