Loraine James announces new album from Whatever The Weather alias
The evocative lead single ‘12°C’ is out now

Loraine James is returning to her Whatever The Weather alias for the release of new album ‘Whatever The Weather II' on March 14.
The 12-track LP is set to come out via Ghostly International, exploring transcendent ambient and angular experimental sounds.
Much like the British climate, the project is defined by unpredictability which translates into a sense of artistic liberation.

It marks a follow-up to her 2022 eponymous debut album under the moniker, which was made in tandem with her second Loraine James album ‘Reflection’ on Hyperdub.
The first single ‘12°C’ is out now, building an evocative soundscape of woozy synths and IDM-inflected rhythms, landing alongside an accompanying music video. Check it out alongside the tracklist and artwork below.
