A new 25,000 sq ft warehouse venue is set to open this summer in St. Philips, Bristol, from the team behind Love Supreme, ION and Junction 2.

PROSPECT is a newly renovated “cultural space” taking over the same venue as Bristol’s former Propyard, which loomed in uncertainty earlier this year after its website closed down, and it was marked “permanently closed” on Google. Propyard's capacity was listed as 2000.

The venue is due to open its doors at 45 Feeder Road this summer with a programme spanning live music, comedy, sport, pop-up food and drink, and fashion markets.

PROSPECT promises to showcase “20 years of experience” in music and creative endeavours from London-based promoter AMAAD, with additional support from local club promoters including Team Love, The Blast, and Dance Corp.

Though no acts have been announced yet, PROSPECT is expected to reveal its opening line-ups soon with bookings spanning house, techno, jazz, drum ‘n’ bass, and more throughout 2024 and beyond.

Speaking on the newly renovated venue, AMAAD founders Paul Jack and Will Harold explained: “It’s such an incredible space with so much opportunity in a city buzzing with talent and creativity.”

They added: “We have worked for many years with Bristol institutions like Team Love, and we’re collaborating with a network of local businesses and communities to create a venue that will serve Bristol’s cultural community.”

The founders said that they hope PROSPECT will become a “hub of culture” within the wider development of Bristol’s Temple Quarter and St Philips Marsh. “We can’t wait to get the doors open and welcome Bristol to our new home,” they said.
