The Lab is our weekly office rave up where we live stream some of the biggest and best names in dance music. This year we've already welcomed the likes of Calibre and Critical Music and this week we thought we'd take it back to the sound of all things d'n'b. We were delighted to welcome one of the genre's greatest labels, Metalheadz to come down to Mixmag HQ. Representing the legendary imprint was Lenzman and Jubei back-to-back Ulterior Motive.

Lenzman is one of the most talented d'n'b producers to emerge over the last decade. He first came to our attention when applying his talents to re-working the Bachelors Of Science hit 'Ice Dance' back in 2008. Since then he's released on the likes of SGN:LTD, C.I.A. and of course Metalheadz while his tracks have found their way into the bags of every major player in the scene. Known for his unique brand of soulful, deep and melodic drum 'n' bass, this June he releases his highly anticipated debut album 'Looking At The Stars'.

Jubei is yet another one of those impeccable d'n'b selectors playing at institutions such as Metalheadz, True Playaz, Renegade Hardware and FWD>>. He was signed exclusively to Metelheadz back in 2010 and his track 'Say Nothin' is a true Mixmag stereo favorite. He went back-to-back with Greg from Ulterior Motive for the second hour in which the pair dropped some absolute classics. Re-watch below or on Mixmag TV.
