Shanti Celeste provides vocals on latest track ‘Ice Cream Dream Boy’
It's the second single to be released in a collaboration between her own label, Peach Discs, and London-based imprint Method 808
Shanti Celeste has shared her latest single ‘Ice Cream Dream Boy’, marking the first time the London-based DJ and producer has provided lead vocals on a track.
Released on August 28, the track is the second to come out via a recent collaboration between her own imprint Peach Discs which she runs with fellow producer Gramrcy, and London label Method 808. It follows the June-released single ‘SLB’.
‘Ice Cream Dream Boy’ is another luscious, feel-good dance anthem, with big names such as Benji B, HAAi, and Joe Goddard already including it in their recent sets.

It combines bouncy chords with airy vocals, but this time with a more personal twist. Shanti explains: “I wanted to make a happy and uplifting vocal summer tune and I just so happened to be in the peak honeymoon romance period with my now partner (The Ice Cream Dream Boy).”
Enlisting Shivum Sharma to help with the lyrics, the track's infectious high energy and soft, euphoric tones evoke the excitement and intoxication of summer love.
Shanti Celeste and Gramrcy established Peach Discs in 2017, and have since released productions from the likes of Peach, Parris and Ciel, as well as issuing Celeste’s own debut album in 2019, ‘Tangerine’.

As well as her “honeymoon romance”, Shanti has had a busy summer on the festival circuit, playing at Glastonbury, Dekmantel, Boomtown, Houghton, Lost Village, We Out Here, Dimensions, and more.
The coming months won’t see her slow the pace as she's set to perform at Manchester’s White Hotel, Waterworks, Stockholm, and Amsterdam, before heading overseas to play in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, New York and other US dates.
