South African techno night TOYTOY to host 11th birthday party

TOYTOY will be celebrating its 11th birthday at And Club in Johannesburg tomorrow.

After missing out on the opportunity to celebrate its last two anniversaries due to the pandemic, the legendary South African techno night will welcome Berlin favourite, Claire Morgan, to headline its birthday event.

Also on the night's line-up is local artist Natasa, Illing and Lady M, with residents Avi Subban, Zolabudde, Kyle Russouw, Gforce, Black Lake and Terry Aronis taking over the club garden.

The garden will also be showcasing its new sound system, including two MSL-4s and two 650p subs from the mid-90s.

TOYTOY started life as a monthly club night, quickly taking over Fridays at And Club. Nowadays, regular faces playing a TOYTOY night include Avi Subban, Zolabudde, Kyle Russouw, Gforce, Black Lake and Terry Aronis.
