The duo have recently posted on social media (on June 24) saying "we are very sorry to announce that we won't be DJing at Arcadia this evening at Glastonbury."

This comes after they explain why they've had to re-schedule their long-anticipated Musgrave Park show in Cork, Ireland, citing COVID-19 as the reason, saying: "We have just had to reschedule our Cork show (once again) due to multiple cases of Covid-19 within the band and crew."

The post reads: "This frustrating decision was not taken lightly, and we apologise sincerely for the disappointment, which we very much share.

"Ireland has always been a very special place for us to play and we are aware how many times this particular show has had to be postponed due to Covid."

Fans in Ireland have been told by the duo that they will be in Cork again "soon enough."

They're scheduled to play at Glastonbury tonight in the 11:PM to 1:AM slot, sandwiched between Jon Hopkins and a Carl Cox b2b Chase and Status jungle set.

The Chemical Brothers are also set to play a June 26 show at York's Castle Howard this weekend. In their post about Glastonbury's cancellation, they say that the team is "hoping that Tom will recover in time to play the scheduled Castle Howard show in York on Sunday."

They will post updated about the upcoming concert in Yorkshire as soon as they can on socials.

They are also due to play Open’er Festival next weekend on July 2. In August, they will be headlining All Points East alongside Kraftwerk, Gorillaz and Tame Impala.
