The KLF’s Jimmy Cauty teams up with Confidence Man on new audiovisual exhibition
Emergency Chill Clinic is an immersive experience made for post-rave “decompression”

The KLF’s Jimmy Cauty and former Mixmag cover stars Confidence Man have teamed up on a new immersive exhibition, set to debut on April 17 in London.
Billed as an audiovisual exhibition made for post-rave “decompression”, Emergency Chill Clinic combines film, sound, and performance in an “immersive experience”.
The installation will run from April 17 - 20 at 35 Soho Square in central London, and includes a film made by Jimmy Cauty’s TowerBlock1 studio featuring a rework of Confidence Man’s 2024 album ‘3AM (LA LA LA)’.

Set in a “hospital-inspired” environment, visitors are taken through a series of health checks by a team of ‘chill clinicians’ before being put to bed to watch Cauty’s film.
“The emergency chill clinic ain't for the faint of heart,” reads a description of the event. “Central London location. NHS disapproved. Recommended post rave. Sub-Bass Defibrillator optional.”
Said to be a “recovery experience” for ravers, the installation promises to ground its ‘patients’ by overstimulating the mind, helping them enter a meditative experience.

In 2023, a documentary film exploring the rise and fall of The KLF was released against the duo’s wishes. Who Killed The KLF? featured previously unheard tapes of members Jimmy Cuaty and Bill Drummond.
The KLF attempted to block the release of the film for copyright infringement a year before it came out, but failed. Director Chris Atkins commented: “The irony is they used very big uncleared samples in all their early tracks.”
More recently, The KLF launched a new website called KLF Kare, described as a "multinational franchise that provides branding solutions for independently owned care homes."
