Trade has announced its return to London in 2023, with a party at North London favourite EGG.

Kicking off their first party of the year, LGBTQI+ promoters Trade are set to bring fan favourites and club residents to the Kings Cross-based venue on February 25 for their first big show in the capital since July’s Pride event — which featured the likes of Wax Wings, Boris, and Pagano.

Following two enormous shows in 2022 including a marathon 30th-anniversary event in February, Trade now sets up for their next ‘original after-hours’ party with yet-to-be-announced residents and “very special guests”.

Currently estimated to run from 8:PM on Saturday, February 25, until the morning of Sunday, February 26, the extended event sees Trade’s inclusive dancefloor open back up with its usual acclaimed production standard.

“It's amazing that Trade still touches a vital chord in the current electronic clubbing landscape and I think it's down to our constantly evolving and updating approach,” says Trade founder Laurence Malice on the forthcoming party.

“We always honour what's been before but actually what's really exciting is keeping Trade at the cutting edge both musically and in terms of production. And of course, our wonderfully inclusive up-for-it crowd that never want to go home. See you on the dancefloor.”

Earlier this year, Trade took over EGG for its 30th anniversary, taking place across an entire weekend in February. The birthday event welcomed acts including Fat Tony, Smokin’ Jo, and Rebekah.

Fat Tony, a Trade resident and regular clubgoer over the years recently spoke about the history of the night, saying: "There’s nothing like it. It was a gay all-night party in a venue where you could be yourself without being judged."
