Yetsuby announces release of new 10-track album, ‘4EVA’

Yetsuby has announced the release of a brand new album, ‘4EVA’, set to land this March on new UK-based record label Pink Oyster.

‘4EVA’ features 10 tracks spanning “digital, analog, and acoustic sounds”, with a focus on bass-adjacent genres like breaks, footwork, club, and IDM.

Yetsuby, who also makes up one half of Seoul-hailing duo Salamanda, explores “the magnetic pull between people and music” on the new record, per an announcement post from Pink Oyster.

"'4EVA’ is Yetsuby’s most accomplished work to date and we couldn’t be more proud to be releasing such an incredible album from one of the electronic scene’s most talented new producers,” they wrote.

The record also sees Yetsuby nod to her roots with ambient and downtempo stylings weaved throughout, paired with maximalist, high-energy club cuts.

‘4EVA’ takes inspiration from a childhood drawing by her sister, where she called Yetsuby a ‘brain-ful human’. The record muses on connection, introspection, and the “transformative power of music”.

“Many musicians believe that they leap and grow somewhere through new creations and the process,” says Yetsuby. “‘4EVA’ is the same for me. It contains the most stories among the music I have released.”

“While making this album, I sought how ‘a genre that cannot be described by just one genre' can reach more people. I made sure that catchy melodies and easily convincing harmonies blend in a way that is characteristic of 'Yetsuby’.”

The release marks the first on Pink Oyster, a new record label from Goodchild Promotions and Métreon Records, described as a “home for leftfield electronic sounds”.

The first single from the record, ‘Aestheti-Q’, is out now. Listen here, and check out the tracklist and artwork for ‘4EVA’, landing on March 26, below.
