Zürich Street Parade has announced its line-up for 2022 edition

Zürich Street Parade has announced its full line-up for its 29th instalment, taking place this Saturday (August 13).

Techno event Zürich Street Parade sees fans of the genre in their masses gather around the Lake Zurich basin.

Not limited to just techno, this event now welcomes DJs and artists from all over the electronic genre - and this year welcomes Ida Engberg, FJAAK, Anna Tur and more.

Also making an appearance are Syreeta, Jackmaster, Black Circle, Caal, and Solardo.

This year there will be 30 love mobiles, hundreds of DJs and seven stages around the Lake Zurich basin - according to Zürich’s tourism website.

These mobiles and the several pop-up stages will include DJs and local acts who play trance, house, drum 'n' bass, and more - in addition to the techno that the parade has got its international name for.

The parade itself will kick off at 1:PM on August 13, and will then finish at midnight. Over the course of the festival week, there will be 100 parties held across the city.

Zürich Street Parade was established in 1992 after being inspired by a television documentary on the Berlin Love Parade.

The debut 1992 event was a demonstration of love, peace, freedom, generosity and tolerance with 1000 people, it’s since swelled in size and cemented itself as one of Europe’s most popular house and techno festivals.

It has had up to one million people attending throughout the years. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the events in 2020 and 2021. This year's theme is "THINK."

Organisers want this to be a celebratory day that can be enjoyed “peacefully, cheerfully, and with the proper sense of responsibility.”
