Here's everything that went down during the Burn Energy Tour 2024
Four cities, 17 artists and thousands of dancers... here's how Burn Energy and Mixmag set the Burn Energy Tour alight in 2024
The first run of Burn Energy and Mixmag's electric four-stop party series, the Burn Energy Tour 2024, has now concluded... and it's been one hell of a ride.
Having kicked off last September in Budapest, with subsequent events in Warsaw, Venice and wrapping up in Barcelona, The Burn Energy Tour showcased the very best high octane dance music — with headline sets from Honey Dijon, Nia Archives, 999999999, KI/KI and Hedex.
The goal of The Burn Energy Tour 2024 was to champion each city's unique sonic identity, spotlighting up-and-coming creatives and igniting underground movements — Mixmag and Burn Energy did this by bringing together world-renowned talents and burgeoning local artists, taking over beloved local venues to allow crowds to get up close to the action.
We also brought you a host of insightful panels and workshops across our daytime offerings in each city — bringing together scene figureheads, both local and international, to help Burn Energy Tour attendees develop new skills or help build their underground scene.
We'd like to thank the performers, event producers, venues and crowds that helped make this event series so incredible; If you missed it, or wanted just to relive some of the memories, then join us in looking back at all of the action from the Burn Energy Tour 2024.

Budapest
The Burn Energy Tour 2024 kicked off last September in Hungary’s capital, and in true Budapest fashion: It was a drum ‘n’ bass affair. Our night time event saw the Burn Energy Tour take over Arzenál, a cavernous warehouse venue in the South of Budapest.
By the time local drum ‘n’ bass stalwarts Shaymi and Bug, as well as BBC Radio 1’s Charlie Tee had got things warmed up, tops were already off within the sweaty crowd — with the arrival of headliner Hedex causing an eruption; one that continued to flow as the UK favourite shelled out cutting edge, tear out drum ‘n’ bass from the decks as mc Eksman who commanded the floor via the mic. It’s no surprise then, that one of the standout moments from the set was a VIP of the pair’s collab track ‘MHITR (Semi Automatic), that debuted on UKF last year.

Warsaw
The next and second stop on the Burn Energy Tour took place in October, and saw us land in Poland’s DIY haven: Warsaw. Transcendental dance music was on the menu for one of Europe’s most exciting clubbing destinations — and who better to headline than the master of euphoria herself, Ki/Ki.
The nighttime event saw us take over the awe-inspiring The Palace of Culture and Science, transforming the former Soviet building into a hedonistic sweatbox; the energetic crowd clung to the regal, domineering pillars across the room as techno stalwart Hekato and local rising star Ola Teks took us through the opening hours.
Ki/Ki was expectedly one to remember. Fresh off a knock out Summer 2024 run, the Dutch artist demonstrated exactly why she has become one of dance music’s most in-demand talents - getting all lungs screaming as she dropped Marlon Hoffstadt, AKA DJ Daddy Trance’s tongue-in-cheek edit of Charli xcx ft. the Dare’s ‘Guess’.

Venice
The third stop on the Burn Energy Tour 2024 was one for the books, as we brought the party to the canals of Venice for a riotous showcase that combined the past, present and future of the UNESCO World Heritage-protected city.
A beautiful former dockyard, complete with exposed brick and 500-year-old was the setting for iconic techno duo 999999999 to make their homecoming. Crowds who arrived early via party boats from the world-renowned canals, were rewarded with knock-out warm-up sets from Lady C, Lucia Lu and Theo Nasa; though of course it was 999999999 who commanded all gazes, as the pair approached donning matching Venezia FC shirts to lay out some out-of-this-world hardware excellence.

Barcelona
For the fourth and final stop on The Burn Energy Tour 2024 we headed to Barcelona, with headliners Honey Dijon and Nia Archives ensuring our party at Sala Apollo was a fitting end to an incredible run of events. Sharing the free-spirited energy and dedication to the underground that Barcelona has become renowned for, it was a no-brainer to enlist the help of the GRAMMY winner DJ, producer and activist, and the Mercury-prize nominated junglist to the Catalan capital's discerning crowd.
Set within the remnants of a 100-year-old traditonal Catalan theatre, the Sala Apollo had two levels for partiers to catch the action — with the balconies being full from Doppelganger's warm of up-tempo pumpers, until ISAbella's hypnotic house closing set.
